Captain Kurt comes from a long background of commercial fishermen and has been on the boats in the gulf every summer since he was 10 years old! Captain Kurt grew up in Coden, Al on Fowl River which is a short 15 minute trip to Dauphin Island. He has spent the last 20 years building state of the art reefs to allow you to catch only the MAGNUMS. We have access to some of the best fisheries in the world right here in the Gulf of Mexico.

Captain Kurt Charters has two pick up/drop off locations for your convenience. We have a local dock on Dauphin Island, Al or if you are staying across the bay we pick up at Fort Morgan Marina located in Fort Morgan, AL.. We try to be as accommodating as possible for our clients.
Dauphin ISLAND, AL
Dauphin Island is an incredible gem of Alabama. The island boasts 7-miles of sugar-white sand, public beaches, clear water, beautiful weather, and is a premier destination for both inshore and offshore fishing. It is a barrier island located three miles south of the mouth of Mobile Bay in the Gulf of Mexico, Dauphin Island is connected to mainland Alabama by a three-mile-long high-rise bridge, and ferry rides that take you to and from the island.
